I’ve been using last pass for just under a year now. I’m no power user, I just needed a cloud-based password storage solution. This app is the answer to all of my complaints about last pass so far. Unlike the web interface, it’s well laid-out and it’s responsive and snappy. Unlike the browser extension, it’s not constantly fighting the Mac OS keychain to auto-fill my passwords anymore. Either way, when login pages move or change format, last pass struggles, and I’d rather just have a native OS X app where I can copy my passwords with a single click, always a command+tab away.
As far as people complaining about crashing and memory leaks, I’m running a 2015 15” Retina MacBook and have had no performance issues. For those that lament that without an internet connection you can’t access your passwords -that’s exactly what I would expect from a cloud-based password storage solution anyway.
It’s not mind-blowing, but this app is a less invasive, responsive way to access your Last Pass service.
