Blocks password auto complete in web browser
When I installed the extension it stopped my web browser from filling in passwords (even after removing the extension).
Tried LastPass out on a recommendation. Id previously been mostly using my web browsers built in password manager. After installing it on my laptop, the app prompted me to install the LastPass browser extension, so I did. Then I noticed that login pages where my username and password would normally be pre-filled had only a three dot [...] symbol put there by LastPass. I have a lot of passwords stored in the web browser (for sites that arent really important to me but for some reason require a login). I hadnt migrated these to LastPass because I was just trying it out. So I deleted the LastPass extension and restarted the browser. No effect. Still no passwords. Tried with many different sites to make sure. Still no passwords.
I can see that the passwords are still in the web browser password manager, but they just dont get filled in. So its not a disaster, just an unnecessary inconvenience to have to fill them in manually by copy/pasting. Very annoying.
Also kind of insidious that it (either intentionally or unintentionally) sabotaged another tool fufilling the same function.
